The Basic Income Earth Network was founded in 1986 as the Basic Income European Network. It expanded its scope from Europe to the Earth in 2004. It serves as a link between individuals and groups committed to or interested in basic income, and fosters informed discussion on this topic throughout the world.

De Vereniging Basisinkomen viert dit jaar haar 20-jarig jubileum

De Vereniging Basisinkomen pleit voor de invoering van een onvoorwaardelijk basisinkomen voor iedere burger, waardoor o.a. armoede, werkloosheidproblematiek en veel geldverslindende en mensonterende bureaucratie tot het verleden kunnen gaan behoren.
In Duitsland is een groeiende beweging in opkomst voor invoering van het BGE, het Bedingungslose Grundeinkommen, gesteund door economen en andere wetenschappers, die inmiddels ook de Duitse politiek en media heeft bereikt.

Nu is de tijd om ook in Nederland de schouders eronder te zetten. De recente economische en politieke ontwikkelingen doen de behoefte, de noodzaak en daarmee juist de kansen toenemen. Nu is de tijd om ons recht op leven en vrije ontplooiing van onze persoonlijkheid, veilig te stellen.

Wij zijn dringend op zoek naar mensen die willen meehelpen met allerlei activiteiten, van informatie verspreiden tot meedenken, van administratieve ondersteuning tot vertaalwerk, (politieke) contacten leggen, enzovoort.

Heb je interesse in het onderwerp basisinkomen? Je bent welkom op één van onze bijeenkomsten, elke 3e zaterdag in het Milieucentrum Utrecht.

Je kunt je als (actief) lid aanmelden via de website, of informatie opvragen via het contactformulier.

Wil je lid worden, dan hoef je alleen maar onderstaand formulier in te vullen (en dit is geen 1-april grap)

 

Nieuwjaarsbijeenkomst Vereniging Basisinkomen 15 januari

Onze vereniging bestaat twintig jaar. Sinds 31 januari 1991 is de Vereniging Basisinkomen (voluit: Vriendinnen en Vrienden van een Basisinkomen) de verzamelplaats voor mensen die zich actief of ondersteunend sterk maken voor de invoering van een basisinkomen in Nederland.

Graag beginnen we dit jubileumjaar met een nieuwjaarsbijeenkomst. We hopen deze middag veel vrienden en vriendinnen van het basisinkomen te mogen verwelkomen!

  • Plaats: Milieucentrum, Oudegracht 60, Utrecht
  • Dag: 15 januari 2011
  • Tijd: 12:30 – 16:30 uur

Het programma ziet er zo uit:

  • vanaf 12.30 uur: Inloop
  • 13.00 – 13.45 uur: Open gesprek over de rol van onze vereniging
  • 14.00 – 15.00 uur: Presentatie door Hans van Steenbergen
  • 15.15 – 16.00 uur: Open uitwisseling met Hans van Steenbergen
  • tot 16.30 uur: Napraten en afsluiting

We beginnen om half twee met een open gesprek. Er zijn genoeg (potentiële) voorstanders van het basisinkomen. Hoe kan onze vereniging een sterk verbindende en activerende rol spelen?

Vanaf twee uur zal Hans van Steenbergen een presentatie houden. Hans is oprichter van Producenten- en Consumentencoöperatie PROCO. Hij was elf jaar senior financieel beleidsmedewerker bij Arbeidsvoorziening en het Centrum voor Werk en Inkomen.

Hij is politiek actief voor de Partij voor Mens en Spirit (MenS) en stond voor deze partij op de tweede plaats van de kieslijst tijdens de Tweede Kamerverkiezingen van 9 juni 2010.

In zijn presentatie zal hij uit de doeken doen hoe volgens hem een gezonde economie eruit ziet. Maakt het basisinkomen onderdeel uit van zijn economische inrichting, en zo ja: in welke vorm?

Routebeschrijving

Het Milieucentrum is gesitueerd aan de noordelijke tak van de Oudegracht (komende van het centraal station: nadat het Vredenburg is overgegaan in de Lange Viestraat gaat u meteen na de brug (Viebrug) links. Het Milieucentrum is dan na ruim 100 meter aan uw rechterhand).

Contributie

Tot slot willen we alle leden vragen om de jaarlijkse contributie over te maken naar postgiro 1890919. Het minimumbedrag is € 35 (of € 10 voor wie een laag inkomen heeft). Alvast bedankt!
